I was so blessed to join a special wedding photographer for this wedding at Kiln Creek Golf Club in Newport News! This was my first opportunity to shadow a super talented fellow wedding photographer who actually specializes in weddings. Although it had rained much of the day, everything turned out beautifully!

Wedding photography is an incredible art! I simply love weddings. I always have. I love the heart of the day; the gathering of friends and families to celebrate love and commitment. There is so much hard work that goes into making the day so beautiful and memorable.
Being a wedding photographer requires attention to detail, organization, dedication, personal sacrifice, endurance, and a gift for loving and serving your couples.
A fellow photographer suggested I reach out to local wedding photographers who’s work I admire. I began with Ryann Winn, and could not be happier I did. After a simple email inquiry, I was so moved to find Ryann’s beautiful photography was only outdone by her beautiful heart. She was so kind to me and responded with a generous invitation for me to join, shadow and photograph at her next wedding. Wow, I did not expect that! And it was amazing! So many things to learn watching she and her husband seamlessly roll through the wedding day covering every small detail.
My goal was honestly just to stay out of her way, and quietly watch and learn. She was so kind though to allow me not only to capture my own photos, but to also share them with all of you! Thanks again Ryann!
